Dounkimagna Lake and Dam is located northeast of the town of Dalaba, about 12 km away, approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes on foot and 25 minutes by car. This hydro-agricultural dam was donated by Saudi Arabia to the surrounding communities to provide water during the dry season for the market gardens of Dounkimagna.
The dam was constructed by the company Astaldi, and thanks to this water source, local residents have become some of the largest vegetable growers in the region. It is also a pleasant place for swimming and picnics.
